This program provides the opportunity to exchange non-working 682 AF, SP &
SS meters with meters that have already been repaired by the factory.
The exchanged 682 can be sent out the same day at nearly 1/3 of the
regular price.
To avoid down time, the non-working meter can be sent back after the
exchange meter has been installed. |

Please note: Old style offset 682 meters, which were last produced in 1983, will
no longer be part of this exchange program.
Cast parts, shafts, and seals are no longer available and the meter has
been
obsolete since June 2, 1997.

PROGRAM DETAILS
|
When a meter is exchanged, the user retains his register and adaptor, as
well as any other accessories he may have (presets, ticket printer, etc.).
Separate exchange programs exist for registers and some other accessories. |
The exchange meter, which is shipped from TCS, is calibrated and freshly
painted. The exchange meter is guaranteed to be free of defects in material
and workmanship for 180 days from the date it ships to the end user or
distributor. |
The used meter returned to TCS should be shipped freight prepaid. It must be
flushed and have a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) identifying the product
that was in the meter. Regardless of the condition of the internal parts of
the meter, the only additional charge a distributor may be subject to is for
the upper or lower housing. If the upper or lower housing is chipped,
cracked, welded, or similarly damaged and in need of replacement, then the
dealer's core credit will be reduced accordingly. |
